The Stephen Mhando Digital Archive website pre-launched on 23 rd December 2024. This is the soft launch of the website to seek content and donation of materials worldwide, on Stephen Mhando. We are still at the very beginning of the curation process. We will start to upload material from 1 st January 2025 until the official launch of the Digital library in Tanzania in 2026. Important: copy the Executive Assistant in every email via stephenmhandoarchive@gmail.com so emails are not missed.

If you have any donations, content or material you believe would help us build the archive and keep a record of the late Stephen Mhando’s life, please send it to curator@stephenmhando.com.

We are still in the process of attribution, citation, referencing, and annotation of the website, so please be patient with us. There are items we received from third party sources. If there are any concerns about what may be your licensing, trademarks and copyrighted work please get in touch urgently and we will sort it out. We also welcome content creators and social media influencers. We are not in a position to pay any writers or content contributors at this moment as we are a non-profit organisation. We welcome students, new writers and new content creators. We are looking for content that is relevant to the current decade (2020s) and the history of Tanzania and Africa. We encourage ‘content pitches’ from diverse range of people. To allow more diversity, the blog we will “pilot” content in Swahili and French, in addition to English in 2025 to see if it piques more interest.
